On our USA holiday in 2006, high in the UTAH mountains, Hannah Poppy decides that something valuable lies buried deep beneath the red rocks... Mum and daughter set out on a perilous adventure.
It was all part of a house swap, via an organisation called intervac www.intervac.com. Having a 400 year old pink thatched cottage with roses around the door has its advantages!
Our only neighbours for miles were the deer who could be seen occasionally eating the bushes that lined the mountain road that lead to our lodge.
